Gifford Grant has once again created a spectacular retail unit for The Stateside Candy Co. With a lease expiry looming, the decision was taken to relocate to much larger premises, and expand the business.

The company increased its warehouse operations to keep up with their booming website, Amazon, ebay and other internet sales, and tripled the size of the shop to keep pace with local demand and the customers who travel across several counties to stock up on American sweets, cookies, marinades and other produce.

Gifford Grant was asked to obtain planning permission from Rushmoor Borough Council for change of use, in addition to supplying and installing second hand racking, and fitting out the new retail outlet to the same high standard as the Guildford shop.

A bespoke cash desk and pic’n’mix display were made to match the flagship Guildford store, along with slat shelving and produce shelving. New windows were installed, with new vinyl flooring and decorations and electrical work carried out to a strict budget and tight timescale.

The store has given the whole area a face lift and causes many a head to turn while driving in Aldershot, Hampshire.
